Abstract

Military academies and universities in Europe are looking for ways to harmonize military education and training of future officers to increase interoperability of the EU member states’ armies. The rich history of the “European Initiative of Exchange of Young Officers, inspired by Erasmus+” is a proof of successful initiatives, as it offers attractive international training, with one of the modules offering training on understanding and implementing gender equality policies in the military environment. This report includes an analysis of the learning content and the results of the feedback from the trainees in the last two editions of the Common Module, organized by the military academies of Italy and Greece.
